Task drawer
Use the drawer for dates, assignments, status, priority, notes, checklists, repeats, and deletion.
How do I open the task drawer?
Double-click a task bar, click a task in the command palette, or select a task and press Enter. The drawer follows selection if it is already open.
What can I edit in the drawer?
- Task title.
- Date range using date inputs.
- Resource assignments with multi-select and clear-all.
- Status picker.
- Priority picker.
- Task type: Task or Event.
- Notes.
- Checklist items.
- Repeat copies for regular editable tasks.
- Delete action.
What overlap checks exist in the drawer?
When changing dates from the drawer, Skedy checks for overlap against other items on the same row before applying the new range.
What happens in view-only shared mode?
The drawer shows task information but editing controls are disabled. View-only users cannot change task title, dates, resources, status, priority, notes, checklist, type, repeat, or delete actions.
