Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Skedy (“the Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

“Skedy”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to the operator of this Service. “You” or “user” refers to any person accessing or using the Service.

2. Description of service

Skedy is a cloud-based production scheduling application designed for film productions and creative studios. It allows users to create projects, manage tasks, collaborate with team members, and share schedules.

3. Accounts and registration

You must create an account to use most features of the Service. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without prior written consent.
  • Use the Service to infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.

5. Content and data ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create within the Service, including project names, task data, notes, and schedules (“User Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your User Content and will not sell or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Sharing features

The Service allows you to generate shareable links for your projects. You acknowledge that:

  • Anyone with a valid share link can access the shared project at the permission level you have set.
  • You are responsible for managing who has access to your shared links.
  • We are not liable for any unauthorised access resulting from you sharing a link with unintended recipients.

7. Service availability and modifications

We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Skedy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to the Service, other users, or us.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon account deletion, your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Skedy operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
