Reuse schedules
Templates
Save reusable production patterns and apply them to new project dates.
What is a template?
A template is a saved schedule structure. It stores selected rows and tasks as relative timing from Day 1, so applying it to a new start date rebuilds the schedule at that date.
How do I save a template?
Click Save as template in the schedule toolbar. Name it, write a description, choose visibility, select which rows to include, decide whether to keep notes and checklists, then save.
What visibility options exist?
| Private | Only you can use this template. |
| Studio | Anyone in your workspace can pick this template. |
| Public | Anyone on Skedy can find this in the public gallery. |
What can a template include?
- Selected rows.
- Tasks from those rows.
- Relative start offsets and durations.
- Task status and priority.
- Task notes and checklists when Keep notes & checklists is enabled.
How do I apply a template?
Open Template Library, choose Mine or Public, select a template, choose a start date, then apply it. Skedy creates the template tasks in the active project using the chosen date as Day 1.
What does the Template Library show?
| Mine | Templates available to your workspace or owned by you. |
| Public | Templates marked public. |
| Template cards | Preview lines, name, category, duration in weeks, and description. |
| Apply controls | Start date input and Apply template button. |
