Sharing and collaboration
Share schedules with view-only links or editable invitations.
How do I share a project?
Click Share in the top bar. You can enable a public view link or invite people by email with Viewer or Editor access.
What access types are available?
| Public link | A view-only link. Anyone with the URL can view the schedule. |
| Viewer invite | An email invite that opens the shared schedule in view-only mode. |
| Editor invite | An email invite that opens the shared schedule with editing permissions. |
Do recipients need an account?
Shared schedules open from secure invite links. Viewers can view without an account. Editors can make changes from their edit invitation.
What can viewers do?
- Open the schedule.
- Inspect tasks.
- Use read-only navigation, search, filters, view settings, holidays, list view, and export.
- They cannot create, edit, move, resize, delete, repeat, or assign tasks.
What can editors do?
Editors can make schedule changes from their shared invitation, including task movement, resizing, creation, updates, and deletion. Owner-only workspace actions such as project settings, resource management, templates, and sharing controls remain hidden.
How do I revoke access?
Open Share and remove the public link or invited person. Their old link stops working after access is removed.
What happens if invite email sending fails?
The invitation is still created. Skedy shows a message telling you to copy the link and share it manually.
