What happens behind the scenes
Sync, data, and safety
Know how saving, live updates, undo, redo, and schedule information behave.
How does saving work?
Most schedule interactions appear immediately, then sync in the background. The saving indicator appears while changes are still being saved.
How does live updating work?
Skedy keeps shared schedules fresh automatically. Refreshes pause while you are dragging a task so the item does not jump mid-gesture.
What does undo and redo include?
Undo and redo cover task edits, moves, creates, deletes, repeats, duplication, bulk deletes, and event row changes. Reverted changes sync like any other edit.
What information does Skedy keep for my schedule?
| Account | Your signed-in workspace and identity. |
| Projects | Project names, subtitles, status, accent colors, departments, and rows. |
| Schedules | Tasks, events, dates, status, priority, notes, checklists, activity, and assignments. |
| Workspace tools | Resources, templates, share invitations, and selected holiday calendars. |
| Display preferences | View mode, density, card style, weekend visibility, theme, and added holiday countries. |
What happens when a save fails?
Skedy shows a save error message. Refresh the page or retry the change if the schedule does not reflect what you expected.
